Question: What are the access times to my Unit?
Answer: Access times vary slightly depending on where your items are stored. We have four secure sites, the Aylsham Depot, Dunkirk depot, Barnwell depot and the Marsham Depot, each with its own dedicated opening hours.

Question: Do I have to provide my own padlock?
Answer: At JAMJAK, we don't believe in hidden extras. Your monthly storage rent includes a high-quality padlock and key completely free of charge. We’ll hand over the key when you move in, so your belongings are safe and secure from day one without any added costs.
Question: Is there any shelving in the units?
Answer: While our units are completely open spaces to give you maximum flexibility, we do offer heavy-duty racking hire if you want to get organised! Racking is a fantastic way to maximize your vertical space and keep your items easily accessible.

Question: Do I need to pay a deposit?
Answer: Yes, we require a fully refundable £100 damage deposit at the start of your storage rental. As long as you leave your storage unit clean, tidy, and undamaged at the end of your hire, we’ll return the full £100 straight back to you.
Question: Do shipping containers get damp inside?
Answer: it depends! While shipping containers are designed to be completely weatherproof, keeping the inside dry relies a lot on what goes into them and how they are used.
If you only store bone-dry items, the space will stay perfectly dry. However, if you pack away damp belongings, track in rainwater on a stormy day, or accidentally block the air vents near the top, moisture will get trapped. This can lead to condensation and dampness inside your unit, especcialy on the hot summer days.

Let it breathe: When you visit your unit on a clear, sunny day, leave the doors wide open for a as long as your can to let fresh, dry air to circulate.
Question: Can I drive my vehicle to my container?
Answer: Absolutely! Every storage unit at JAMJAK is located on the ground floor with generous space to pull your vehicle right up to the entrance. You won't have to worry about negotiating awkward stairs or carrying heavy boxes long distances. We want your drop-offs and pick-ups to be as quick, safe, and convenient as possible.
Question: Is there an electric supply to the units?
Answer: Our units do not have an electricity supply. We specialise in providing clean, simple, and incredibly secure shipping container storage. By keeping things straightforward, we’re able to keep our prices low and offer you a reliable and affordable self-storage solution.
Question: Is there security cameras?
Answer: We take security very seriously at JAMJAK. Our entire self-storage facility is monitored by secure CCTV, tracking activity on-site. Whether you are storing household furniture or business stock, we provide a safe environment to give you complete peace of mind.
